When importing assets using the import wizard, the description of your chosen depreciation methods in the spreadsheet doesn't need to be the same as AA uses, as long as you can identify these to map them against the correct depreciation method in the import wizard.
When the mapping step comes, AA will ask you to tell it which column of your spreadsheet data each method needs to map to.
For example, if your spreadsheet column heading is "Straight Line Method - SL", at the correct screen on AA's import just make sure that this column maps to SL.
Same reasoning for Diminishing Value to DV and so on.
